Chelsea Gibbs
Chelsea Gibbs founded Central Kentucky Community Therapies with the vision of creating a safe welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can connect, grow, and below. We are an inclusive community that embraces both neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals, fostering an environment of acceptance, respect, and meaningful relationships.
Through programs such as community choir, movie nights, homeschool co-ops, day camps, and other community events, we believe that healing, growth, and connection happen best when people come together in a supportive and compassionate space.
Homeschool Educator/ Community Choir Director
Heather Marsh-Prelesnik
Heather Marsh-Prelesnik brings a diverse educational background and a lifelong passion for teaching and music to Central Kentucky Community Therapies. A former homeschooler who now homeschools her own daughter, Heather has extensive experience teaching in Montessori schools, private schools, homeschool co-ops, and theatre education programs.
As a dedicated advocate for lifelong learning, Heather is passionate about inspiring curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love of learning in every child she teaches. She believes education is most meaningful when it nurtures confidence, connection, and a sense of wonder.
Music has been a central part of Heather's life from an early age. She began singing with the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus at the age of nine and has remained active in choral music throughout her life. Heather is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where individuals of all ages and abilities can discover their voices, develop their musical talents, and experience the joy of singing together. She believes that making music as a community is a powerful way to build confidence, foster belonging, and create lasting connections.
Homeschool Educator/ Summer Camp Director
Sara Weathers
Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Union College as well as a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky. She has worked for more than year with individuals with disabilities in various roles including job placement, job development, teaching adult education classes, being a vocational counselor, and case manager. She has a 10-year-old song who she has homeschooled for his entire elementary career. Together, they love to explore nature and visit new places.
